The idea was a huge success and the brand has gone from strength to strength since its inception. 1992 saw the construction of a new, larger ice chestnut manufacturing plant in Privas to accommodate the growing orders from around the world.

The chestnuts are harvested strictly from the Ardèche region in France. These chestnuts are so famous that their regional authenticity is protected by the AOC.
