DESCRIPTION: A special series of fine condiments, dedicated to the local and ongoing custom of bottling small quantities from the family’s production. As tradition goes, these small glass bottles of sweet, delicate and considerably dense condiments are completed by hand, sealed with rope and red wax.
YEARS AGED: 12 years.
INGREDIENTS: Must of cooked, sun dried grapes; aged wine vinegar
AGEING: In wine barrels, with the addition of aged balsamic vinegar drawn from a series of centuries old casks
TASTING NOTES: The aromas of plum jam intertwine with the sweet hints of vanilla, creating a delicate and enveloping aromatic bouquet
SERVING SUGGESTIONS: Ideal on risotto, fresh pasta, vegetable soups, eggs, fresh and matured cheeses, white and red meats, fresh fruit salad and desserts
